COVID-19 Vaccinations

We are excited to have received our first batch of Oxford AstraZenica vaccinations.

We will be immunising our patients according to JCVI guidance.  Our first cohort of patients are those over 80.  Following this we will be immunising those over 75 and our patients on the shielding register.

We have been phoning, texting and writing to our patients to organise appointments.  We have had clinics throughout the week but we have a large clinic for our over 80's on Sunday the 31st of January.  This is when we will able to give the majority of our vaccines.

We have provisionally booked a further clinic on Saturday the 6th of February.  This is will be for our patients over 75 and our patients on the shielding register.  When we have confirmation of receipt of our vaccines we will contact this group of patients to organise their appointments.

If we know you are housebound, our district nurses will phone and arrange to give you your vaccine in your house.

As you know, the health board will organise appointments for all remaining patients. You will receive a blue (or perhaps white) letter in the post to let you know how to organise this.
